About 20% of all restaurants in America are just fronts for illegal drug money laundering.
If all the narco dollars were removed from the economy, the stock market would collapse (over a trillion dollars in the US every year are generated from illegal drug sales)

Our highest elected officials are deeply involved in illegal drug dealing- the Department of Housing and Urban development (HUD) being a primary vehicle for the money laundering-if you have drug profits, what is the best way to launder the money? You buy real estate, and this involves credit- this is where HUD comes in. HUD is a giant slush fund and criminal racket involving the heads of the Justice department, the Treasury, and the Oval office. Foreign drug lords dictate who heads these departments.

The Vietnam war, and the current wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have a drug (opium and hashish) motive.
(Remember, this has been going on a long time- FDR's grandfather earned a fortune smuggling opium in to China during the 'Opium Wars' in the mid 19th cenury).

Every so often, a plane that belongs to, or very recently belonged to, the US government, crashes or is captured with several tons of cocaine on board. (More later)

Oliver North, with Bush 1's and probably Reagan's consent, oversaw a complex arms and drugs operation involving deals with the Ayatollah, where we gave them weapons, then took the cash and funded a drug pipeline from the Contra-controlled areas of Central America into the US. The death squads received military assistance in return, while highly placed politicos in America raked in the cash, while our children died from drug abuse.

It is possible that Oliver North personally sabotaged the Iranian embassy hostage rescue attempt that Carter desperately launched in 1980-the rescue helicopters landed far within Iranian territory en route, to re-supply. A sandstorm whipped up, and the craft subsequently crashed, dooming the hostages to several more months of captivity. The filters on-board the helicopters failed, and the engines clogged up with sand. Oliver North was on the ground in Iran at the staging point, and the filters were probably punctured with a bayonet. Oliver North may have done this, due to his allegiance to the Reagan team- if Carter had successfully rescued the embassy hostages, he may have been re-elected.
It is rumored that the rescue would have involved staging a spectacular UFO type event, to dazzle the surrounding populace. (The CIA once had plans to simulate the return of Jesus Christ before the Cuban people, to sow confusion and unseat Castro from power).

Communist and labor union pressure in the 20th century ended child labor, reduced the workweek from 60+ hours to about 40, gave the workers paid vacations and sick leave, and established minimum wage and workmans compensation.

Fraud ?

My nephew recently received a modest inheritance, and went to a local car dealership to buy a VW, his first car. He paid $4,500 and dealer (arranged) financed the rest. They let him drive home that day with the car, something called on-spot delivery. About ten days later, my nephew received a call from the dealer- they told him the financing did not go through, and he needed to come back to the shop and give an extra $1,200 down payment; and he needed to sign a second, new, contract. Their was a perceived threat to repossess his car- he was under the impression that he would also lose his $4,500 investment, plus his credit would be damaged. Being young and inexperienced and afraid, my nephew agreed, came in and gave the extra money and then some, and signed the new contract- this a common auto sales trick called 'Yo-yo'- they initially send you out and then later snap you back in for more money, just like a yo-yo.
I called the states Attorney Generals office about this matter- they told me that this happens all the time, and legally a car dealer cannot force anyone to sign a second contract. If financing falls through, they have ten days to cancel the first contract, retrieve the vehicle, and then fully refund your money. The company probably committed a fraud, yet my nephew still signed the second contract, which normally would be binding. The Attorney Generals office suggested we go to civil court and set an appointment with a judge to settle the matter- they also agreed that my nephew signed the second time under duress, which voids the contract; and he is entitled to getting all his money back- $9,500, and the car would be returned to the dealer. The dealer is not entitled to receive any money for the miles put on the car during the time that my nephew 'owned' it. ( Getting my nephew into court could be very hard- he is pathologically shy, but thats another issue).
I am asking my great legion of readers for any and all info they might possess concerning auto fraud and what to do about it. Thank you.

Also- he is currently in default. Does anyone know how this might impact the outcome or does this not matter, since a fraud seems to have already been committed?

It is a fact: 9-11 hijacker Mohammad Atta received about $100,000 in a wire transfer from the ISI, the Pakistani secret service, under the direction of director-general Lt. General Mahumd. Mahumd was immediately fired when the news broke (broken by a joint FBI and Indian effort, and he was fired to help cover-up the crime- not as a punishment).

Saudi princess Haifa, wife of ambassador Prince Bandar and a personal friend of George Bush, wired Mohammad Atta and other hijacking associates many thousands of dollars.

Two of the 19 hijackers (Al Hazmi and Al Mihdhar) lived in the same apartment with a FBI informant in 2000, in San Diego. This informant, who had to have noticed something was up, supposedly never told his FBI handler (Butler) anything relevant or pertinent. The informant even helped open a savings account for future hijackers- with $9,900.

The FBI has never thoroughly investigated any of these issues, nor did the 9-11 Truth Commission report deem the money trail important enough to seriously look into.

(On September 11 2001, Pakistani General Mahumd was having breakfast in DC with senator Graham and rep. Porter Goss. These two 'public servants' were later to assume prominent roles in the "investigation").
One way citizens might be able to reign in abusive politicians- file (preferably a class action suit) a commercial lien against them in court, for failure to perform their sworn duties as public servants,i. e., uphold the Constitution. If successful, this would mean that all of a Presidents or Senators assets and income would be out of their reach... they would be penniless until they fulfilled their legal duty.

Humpty dumpty was pushed.
In 1816, a queen of the Ashante nation (in west Africa) died-to honor her, 3,500 servants were murdered and buried with her in her tomb.
Governments seldom tell the truth about anything.

Milton Friedman, the monetarist-capitalist darling of the neocons and neoliberals, believed: labor unions were bad and should be done away with,
thought legal limits to interest rate charges should be abolished,
the minimum wage ought to be eliminated,
and the printing of money should be privatized.

Narco-terrorists and dealers have so much power that they might be able to determine who becomes President of the United States. The Vatican also reaps enormous windfalls from the sale of illicit drugs. ( Black budgets are involved here-more later. Suffice it to say that most US senators, big city mayors, and federal Judges are on the take, and enable drug lords to run their empires, while cops go after lower level peddlers and the occasional big wheel to offer a show trial for the masses ).
The global elite are also involved in organized child-sex rings ( a secondary motive for the Iraq war) the scandal reaching into the White House and Halliburton, et al. Why doesn't the media report on such things? The story is too big, and they themselves are too involved.
Mr. Ahmadinjad is the elected President of Iran. He graduated from university in the top of his class. He has few real powers- he cannot direct foreign policy and he has no military authority. He is unpopular with the Ayatollahs and the parliament, and will probably lose re-election in 2009, if he runs.

His reception here in the US reinforced the image of the 'ugly American.' We were boorish and rude, while he displayed grace.

Most of the gains in the stock market over the last few years have been due to large corporations buying stocks from other large corporations.

Marx, who was wrong about many (most?) things, only used the expression "dictatorship of the proletariet" about two times, in his twenty-odd books written over a thirty five year period.

Adam Smith, the father of capitalism and author of "Wealth of Nations," only used the term "invisible hand" once in his 1,000 page masterpiece. Contrary to perception, Smith advocated the use of government to regulate the markets, enforce contracts, protect copyrights and patents, curb landlord abuses (whom he thought were "stupid" because they didn't do anything to earn their money). Smith wanted the state to engage in FDR-style public works programs, and wanted public education for (almost) everyone (surprise!).

Alfred Marshall's 'marginalist utility' theory demolished Marxism's surplus value theory of labor, even though throughout most of the 20th century a third of humanity seemed not to notice.
Carl Sagan was an avid pot smoker.
