Jackie Gleason, the star of the hit 1950's show 'The Honeymooners' was an avid collector of occult material. His library on the supernatural was one of the largest private collections of mystical and occult literature in the world.

'The Honeymooners' is regarded as a premier example of a hi quality American sit-com, but it only ran for about a year-1955-1956- the so-called 39 classic episodes ( the show ran on other venues in forms such as skits and sequels, before and after its classic run).

The 'Flintstones' cartoon was inspired by the show.
