On March 23, 2005, in Waco, Texas, the 'leaders' of Mexico, the US, and Canada ( Vicente Fox, Bush, and Paul Martin) inked the 'Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America' (SPP) . This pact urges greater political cooperation and economic union between the three nations, establishing Ministerial level posts to bring this about. Many observers- Lou Dobbs of CNN, and Pat Buchanan are examples- see this treaty as a major stepping stone toward the ultimate creation of a North American Union, similar to the European Union. The imminent creation of this union is more than strongly implied by the wording of the 2005 report "Building a North American Community," issued by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR= a front organization for the international bankers, their political arm, and the real controlling authority over the Presidency).
Robert Pastor, the Vice -Chairman of the CFR Task Force on North America, testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and urged the creation of the NAU...the SPP states that this should be done by 2010.
All these efforts to merge Mexico, Canada , and the US into a single corporate bureaucratic state are being carried out without any participation from the public, with no Congressional oversight. There is zero debate. The bankers are just doing it, the people be damned- screw national sovereignty.
The Foreign Secretary of Mexico, Mr. Debrey, once declared that the ultimate goal was "complete integration" of the three countries.
To facilitate this integration, the construction of a "NAFTA Superhighway" is underway. This 'road' will be be 10 lanes, 400 yards wide, and in the median will be rail transport lines. Cheap goods-from China- will enter Mexico at their southern port in Lazaro Cardenas, and Mexican drivers will freight it into the US and won't have to stop for customs inspections until they reach Kansas City, Mo. From there, the freight will branch out into Canada and the rest of the US.
(In 2002, Governor Perry of Texas proposed major expansions of existing roads to be made into a Trans-Texas corridor, which will eventually link up I-35 into the new superhighway).
The globalist goal is to erase the border, and Bush has done a excellent job in this respect- some estimates claim that over 3 million illegals cross the southern border every year- while the Feds only offer token resistance ( Federal law says that if you cross the border illegally, you automatically have to serve six months in prison, and then you will be deported. This law obviously is not fully enforced).
If you put enough Mexicans inside the US, "complete integration" becomes so much easier, as the countries will be more similar than before.
Why is the erasure of the border a bad thing? Why is eventual political unification with Mexico a bad idea?
Mexican crime rates are higher than ours, drug lords control most of their states, Americans cannot safely travel alone in northern, or most of, Mexico... Mexican men think beating their women is 'normal' ...most Mexicans don't have a concept of' cruelty to animals'- mistreating animals is 'normal' for them. Mexican labor and environmental laws or standards are far below ours....Poverty and corruption in Mexico vastly exceeds our level. As more and more illegals enter the US, the more likely the US will come to resemble Mexico. Rampant illegal immigration keeps wages low...and is a security issue ( either we are at war with elements of radical Islam or we are not...why bother fighting terrorists if we have an open border by which any middle eastern looking hothead can sneak into the country?)
I know Mexico is full of decent and enlightened educated people ( and yes, I have been there)- but they don't come here- they stay home. It is the surplus refuse of their society that come here, for the most part. Most of these people cannot even read Spanish. They work with their hands, so they only know anger- they number about 30% of our Federal inmates- illegals are 5-6% of the general population
( Hispanics as a whole surpassed Blacks in numbers in the US in 2000- 13% of the US pop. versus 12%).
Adding a low quality to a higher quality always moves the higher quality down, while the lower quality only rises a little..if the trend continues...in 15 years, almost all of our cops will be on the take, whereas right now, only a minority are, etc.
The Pope urged Mexicans to uncontrollably breed...look at the result (a tangent, I know).
Democratic accountability and efficiency ends at the level of the nation-state. These are macro- reasons why the proposed North American Union and NAFTA Superhighway should be stopped.
What can you do about this? Only support candidates that oppose the NAU. Make as much noise as you can about this issue. Oppose candidates that are for amnesty and open borders. Rep. Goode of Virginia has introduced Congressional House resolution 40, which would block any/all maneuvers designed to implement the NAU.
